Eliza Tziamali

Eliza Tziamali is a graduate of the Department of English Language and Literature at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Athens and holds a Master’s degree in Comparative Literatures from Goldsmiths College, University of London. She is also licensed to teach Spanish and has attended teacher-training seminars at the Cervantes Institute. She has completed a three-year cycle of seminars in Palaeography at the Cultural Foundation of the National Bank of Greece (MIET) and has worked in the Manuscripts Department of the National Library of Greece. She has taken part in professional development programs on the use of digital tools in education, as well as on the prevention and management of incidents of school violence and bullying. She was a scholarship holder of the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY) during her studies and in her work with the Comenius program. She is a member of educational networks such as Teachers for Europe, Adopt a Ship, and Design for Change, and has participated as a presenter in professional development workshops focused on the dissemination of good practices in education. She has been teaching for 20 years in public primary schools both in the provinces and in Athens, most recently at the 1st Primary School of Palaio Faliro. Together with her students, she creates student podcasts, digital books, films, and theatrical performances.
